FAQ's

What Clothing should I wear?

Wear comfortable, outdoor clothing, that is weather-appropriate. It is better to wear layers of clothing that can be removed or added as the temperature goes up and down. We don’t want dangling or loose clothing items that will get tangled in cables and rope. Long hair and jewelry should not be left loose. Harnesses tend to ride up when properly fitted, so wearing longer shorts/pants may be more comfortable.

What Equipment is provided?

A harness, helmet, climbing gear.

Can the Ropes Course Operate in Rain?

The course is still fun in the rain. An occasional rain shower will not interfere with your program, so if rain clouds are visible as you depart for the course, just bring a rain coat or poncho with you. Because the weather in this area is so un-predictable, we suggest that groups not postpone their program based on weather forecasts, but this decision is always one which you and your team leaders will make. The course may close for severe weather such as lightning, thunderstorms, and high winds.

Do I need to sign a wavier?

Everyone entering the course must complete a waiver, participating or not. If you are under 18 years old, your legal parent or guardian must sign for you.

What Food Services are available?

Water is available all around the course, with full day programs we will be providing a lunch half way through the program.

Are we Allowed to Bring our own Food?

You are welcome to bring your own coolers and non-alcoholic beverages. We encourage you to bring water bottles for our filling stations as well. No glass bottles.

What are the Driving Directions?

We are located between Leon Springs and Helotes! NW San Antonio.

If you are coming from a specific location and need driving directions, please feel free to Contact Us or type your address into the map at the bottom of that page.

Is there Parking?

Parking in on the street for all guests. Cielo Vista Team Challenge is not liable to any valuables left in your car.

What is the Best Footwear for the Course?

You'll want footwear that provides good traction and is closed toe. Most athletic shoes (tennis, running, walking, etc.) are good choices. Any shoe or boot with rubber soles is acceptable, but lace-ups are always better than slip-ons.

What to Bring?

You will be furnished with a container in which to place your personal items in during the program. It is suggested that you bring sunglasses and/or hat. Leave all un-necessary jewelry including rings at home. Bring any medications you may need, as well as any type of knee, back or elbow support that you use when active.

How "Physical" is This Program?

We compare the level of physical challenge in this program to "an hour or two of yardwork.” It does not require athletic ability. You do not have to be in great physical condition. No running or jumping is required. In every case you will make the final decision about how much "challenge" you want for yourself.
